Light, Line
and Place
I work from direct observation — in drawing and in paint. The same attention to structure, tone, and the fall of light runs through the studio: the line of a roof, the weight of a wall, the quiet of a still life or a landscape.
I work and teach from my studio within the historic grounds of Dalswinton Estate in Dumfries and Galloway. My work is held in private collections across the United Kingdom and Europe.
